Hack password protected access database
Have you ever come across a Microsoft Access Database (.mdb) and when you try to open it, it asks for a password?
And you start wondering where to start looking for the password. This has happened to me mostly when I download free source code from sites like Source Coderster and the back end access database has been protected by a password.
Worry no more. In this article I am going to show you step by step on how to hack password protected access database in a mater of seconds.
For hacking the password protected access database we are going to make use of a free software called Cain and Abel.
About Cain and Abel
Cain & Abel is a password recovery tool for Microsoft Operating Systems.It allows easy recovery of various kind of passwords by sniffing the network, cracking encrypted passwords using Dictionary, Brute-Force and Cryptanalysis attacks, recording VoIP conversations, decoding scrambled passwords, recovering wireless network keys, revealing password boxes, uncovering cached passwords and analyzing routing protocols.

Installing Cain and Abel
After we have finished downloading , Right Click the setup and Run As Administrator.Follow the installation wizard to complete the installation.
Hacking The Access Database Password
Once Cain and Abel has been installed, we are ready to hack the access database password.
- Right Click Cain and Run As Administrator
When you run Cain you might receive the following warning, click ok and continue.
- Go to Tools and choose Access Database Password Decoder or hit Alt + A on your keyboard
- Browser and select the access database that you want to recover the password
Click on the browse button and find your access database file as shown below. Click open to recover the access database password
